Humanoid (from English human and – oid ‘resembling’) is something that has an appearance resembling a human being
Safe Absence A collection of portraits around the paradoxes of ordinary life concerning fate, death and temptation.T.r.a.s.h. finds inspiration in dilemmas and moral conflicts of contemporary society. Looking for connections between biographies of people and current violent events, to write texts and to color the characters. Performances in landscapes of violation and mental collapse. About violence in society and how surprisingly close it can get to you.
In this second episode six seductive women personify the themes of longing, sin and penance. Caught in their comfort (zone) broken stories of fear, trauma and emotional excesses are portrayed. From repressed memories, smothered in a straightjacket of traditions and rituals, their disturbed perception of reality unfolds.
Safe Absence explores what being a woman means and represents this in atmosphere and mood. Carnival-like scenes in a surreal landscape, accompanied by intense live music, lead to extreme physicality between reality and trance.
